The Turners - Summer Greens Lifestyle Family Portrait

Jeff and Theresa celebrated their 10 year anniversary in July. If it weren't for their adorable kids in these photos, you'd think this was their engagement session! They were just full of love, joy and laughter!

Fun story from this session - Harper and Max spotted a bright orange Monarch butterfly in the middle of our session and they HAD to chase it. It was one of the cutest and purest moment I have witnessed! Scroll down to find the said butterfly and cute children!

Happy Anniversary, Jeff and Theresa! It was lovely to hang out with your family and capture some memories!

Psst! leave this lovely family a note and if they get 10+ comments here, they will get a special snail mail from me with a couple of my favorite images!

Doo-ing Good in the Neighborhood!

Thank you to Warner Bros. for sponsoring this post. Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. Gang have teamed up with generationOn, the youth family division of Points of Light, to inspire, equip and mobilize kids, parents and Scooby-Doo fans to create meaningful change in their communities.

Our crew got to join in on some #DooGood fun this past weekend at the Mall of America! Ari and Oskar had a blast meeting Scooby-Doo, got their hands dirty in planting some herbs, colored letters with some big message and most importantly learned about helping others and how we can all make a difference in the community!

Did you know that 1-in-6 kids in the U.S. don't know where their meal is coming from? Yeah, me neither! As a mom of two growing boys, I can't imagine seeing any kid go hungry! Here are some ideas for us to solve this hunger problem!

1. Write letters to Congress with your kids to help bring awareness of hunger problem in our community!  Feeding America put together a super easy template to tell Congress about hunger in your community! You can search who your representative is by simply putting in your zip code here

2. Participate in community gardens! Find a community garden near you and volunteer!

3. Donate! We bought some goodies at the Box Lunch store at MOA and each 10 dollars you spend, a meal is donated through the local food bank. It's a win-win! (i.e. Second Harvest Heartland in St. Paul was the local food bank beneficiary from this particular Box Lunch location!) Of course, you can just donate money, too! Every $1 dollar donation = 10 meals!

4. Join our crew in the Doo Good campaign at ScoobyDooGood.com Because together, there is no issue we can't solve!

I was selected by Warner Bros. to participate in the Doo Good Campaign. The content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

Maria + Issac, Sibling Love!

Laura and I met through our kiddos' preschool. Isn't it fun when you meet school moms that value the important things in life, like food, coffee, wine and Target? Better yet, your kids get along, which allows for a peaceful playdate? And she plans moms' nights because she likes planning and organizing? Laura is basically a dream mom friend! We have another fun year ahead as Maria and Ari start their last year of preschool together in the fall.

Laura and Drew's baby boy Isaac turned two recently and I got to capture this sweet occasion! Yay! We hung out in their backyard and laughed the whole way through. Laura and Drew, you guys have the most beautiful children! Seriously!

Psst! leave this lovely family a note here and if they get 10+ comments here, they will get a special snail nail from me with a couple of my favorite images!
