Katie was hoping to catch the last of the fall colors but instead we got the first big snowfall of the year! Funny thing is, we had already scheduled to meet at a Christmas tree farm. So the falling snow made us feel like we're in a snow globe and it was MAGICAL!

Winter, you're not so bad. Katie + Andy - you guys were an absolute joy and your Teddy is such a sweetie!

I am not even going to try to put into words how adorable Shannon and John's little ones are. But really - not only are they cute, Mikko + Mila also light up the room with their smiles and spunky personalities!

Also have I ever told you that I love sneaking in mom + dad shots during a family session and pretend we're doing an engagement session for hot 2 minutes. Shannon and John played along with me and I think they look so lovely and so in love.

We ran around their beautiful backyard in subzero temp, grabbed some hot coffee (coffee milk for the littles, the way grandma makes it), talked like Minions a bunch - "banana", and loved on Lucky cat as he popped in wherever we were. This Minnesota winter weather has its own perks. I get to spend time with families in their own element, being completely themselves.
